Tequilla O'LOUGHLIN's Tattoo's (Calligraphy)

These are Tequilla's Tattoo's.

This first one took about 2 hours to do and it was so small and I had to keep checking it was in line!
The second one took about half an hour.
I used a 01 round liner needle all the way through both tattoo's due to the delicate nature of Calligraphy.

I don't have a Design for this tattoo as this was a freehanded piece.

This is the piece Tequilla Picked from the page designs I did prior to her arrival.

This is the finished design. We are both very happy with the result.

Lauren's Tattoo. (Custom)

This is Lauren's First Tattoo.
The design is custom, She designed the writing herself, The Sparrow was added as an after thought when she arrived at mine and took a look in my Tattoo Source book.

This design took about 45 minutes, We were both very happy with the design, we may go back and add shading and colour at some point, If Lauren is brave enough.

Lauren's script that she brought to me. It's Latin and read's 'Life is what you make it.'

This is the sparrow Lauren choose from my 'Tattoo SourceBook'.

And this is the finished product. I was very pleased with the outcome and how well the designs worked together.

Alex COLLIER's Tattoo. (Heart Locket)

This is Alex's Tattoo.

She found the design for this herself, and sent It to me asking If I could re-scale & Tattoo It for her.
An hour after getting the picture I sent back the re-scaled sketch of the design,
She was more than happy with it.
With the design finished we set to work, I started with a 5 round liner for quite a thick outline, and used a 3 round shader for the small patches of shading across the ribbon. I will use a 01 round liner for some of the fine detailing inside the locket such as the 'key-hole'.

This is the origanal design Alex brought to me.

This is the sketch I did or her design prior to her arrival.

This is the design in progress, At the half way mark.

Keeley GITSHAM's Tattoo. (Butterfly)

This is Keeley's Tattoo.

I drew the design for this and freehanded it onto the skin with a tattoo marker.
I did this with a 01 round liner because of the fine detail. We were both happy with the design but the outline needs a little thickening out as it doesn't quite fit with the rest of the work on her back.

This is the quick sketch I did of Keeley's tattoo & where I would add the butterfly.

This is the design in progress.

The finished design.

Dane BENT's Tattoo. (Tattoo Rescue)

This is Dane's Tattoo.

This piece was what I call a 'Tattoo Rescue'. He attempted to tattoo this himself a few years ago and came to me asking If I could correct It for him.
I set to work with a 3 round liner for the outline as it was quite thin, but in some area's it was a little thicker.
We did the outline & colouring In one sitting. I used a 09 Flat for the colouring. And we managed to fix it. We were both very happy with the outcome.

This is how the tattoo looked when Dane came to me.

This is the finished product. I'm quite proud of this piece. I was extremely pleased with the outcome.

Ginni NAYLOR's Tattoo. (Tribal)

This is Ginni's Tattoo.

This design Came from my Tattoo source book. (Thank You To my wonderful parent's for buying it me.)
This was a very small piece but took about 2 hours as it was very detailed.
I used a 01 Round liner, and used the liner to colour in, working in small, tight circles as this design was too  small to used any other needle to colour.

This is the origanal design from my Tattoo Sourcebook.

This is the finished product, Ginni decided not to have the heart done around the butterfly or to colour in the body of the butterfly.

Ben NEARY's Tattoo. (Tribal)

This is Ben's Tattoo.
This design was done my me, I freehanded it onto the skin with a tattoo marker, Then once Ben was happy with it we started tattooing.
We did this design in 2 sections, It took about 1 and a half hours to do the outline on day 1 using a 5 round liner for a thicker outline, Then 2-3 hours on day 2 to colour. I used a 21M2 flat needle to colour this piece as it was quite large. It's one of the biggest pieces i've done to date.

Amy's Tattoo. (Stars)

This is Amy's tattoo. I will admit, I've always had a problem with drawing a perfect star. so we drew out the design for this piece, and used carbon paper to apply the design to the skin.

It was done in two section's, Outline on Day 1, Taking about a hour and a half, using a 03 round liner. Then colour on day 2, Using a 05 round shader and working in small, tight circles again to achieve the colouring correctley. On day 2 Amy decided to change her design a little by grouping more star's together at the bottom rather that the shooting star idea we origanal had.

Mark MASON's Tattoo. (Tribal)

This is Mark's tattoo.

Mark Picked this design out of my tattoo Sourcebook. It was a fairly small and simple design. Took about half an hour. I used a 01 round liner for the outline and a 03 round shader to colour because it was such a small area. I worked in tight circles to achieve the coloring.

This is The design Mark Picked Out from My Tattoo Source Book.

This is the outline finished. He was bleeding quite a bit so it was difficult to get a good picture.

And here is the finished product. We were both very pleased with the outcome.
(I apologize for the bad quality picture, It was taken with a mobile phone.)

Stefan KROKOSZYNSKI's Tattoo. (Custom)

This is Stef's tattoo. He came to me with the idea of having his children's name's tattooed down his arm ... In there handwriting!

I got them to write there name's on a piece of paper then freehanded it onto the skin with a tattoo marker. (It's not easy to copy childrens hand writing!)
Once Stef was happy with the design we continued. I used a 01 round liner for this as it's very delicate work and Stef didn't want a huge outline. It took about an hour, We've also discussed placing a scroll around these names to finish the piece off.

Blake GITSHAM's Tattoo's. (Tribal & Scroll)

This is Blake's first tattoo.

He designed this himself, I class It as a tribal piece.
It took about 3-4 Hour's to do, Using a 3 needle for the Fine detail, and a 5 for a thicker outline. I coloured this piece with a 5 round shader needle as a flat tip was too big to get into this tattoo.

There's a little damage from the healing process, slight patches on ink missing where the tattoo has scabbed and peeled away the ink, But not alot. Needs a quick going over to finish it again.

And this is Blake's second Tattoo. Again, He designed this himself. It took about an hour and a half to do. It got quite tricky at some points due to the detail in the scroll, But we got what we wanted in the end.
I used a 01 round liner needle the whole way through this piece, Because of the fine detail.

We may come back and add some shading to this at a later date.

This is half way through the design.

And here is the finished product.
Both myself & Blake were very pleased with this piece.
