Tattoo Practice - Snoopy.

I wanted to do something cute and girly for a chance, It's the upside to using practice skin, I can pick whatever design to practice ..

Snoopy, And a Fat looking Woodstock.

Tattoo Practice. - (Tribal, Mixed.)

Tattoo Practice - Tribal, Mixed.

Some of the mixed tribal practice I did on the tattoo skin.

Girly heart tribal.

Free hand tribal, I drew straight onto the skin, no pre-planned design.
It was to practice my tribal, its getting quite popular and i'm wanting to get a lot of practice in.

I started to add shading into this piece as i wanted to brush up on my shading skills too.
(Plus, In my opinion, it looks better than block colour.)

Finished piece.

 Both pieces, Side by side.

Tattoo Practice. - Custom Cross tattoo.

Custom Cross tattoo.

This was the first piece i did on my 'tattoo practice skin'

'Scarlette' Tattoo.

Nick's Daughters name tattooed on his neck.

Not a very good photo, But I will get a better one.

Charlene's Tattoo. (Custom.)

This is a tattoo that i touched up & tried to straighten out the line's, the tattoo was also a little faded.

This design is NOT Mine, I just re-coloured it and did the touch-up work.

Butterfly wing on the 'Love Tattoo.
I re-coloured it and brought out the outline, I had to make it thicker to straighten up the line's.

There wasn't much i could do with this piece as it is slightly slanted, but i re-coloured the words & the blood drop.

I re-coloured this tattoo too. again i couldn't do much about it been slightly slanted, but i'm pleased with the out come.

John DIVINE's Tattoo's. ( Custom & Cover-up.)

These are John's Tattoo's that I recently Did for him, Including a Custom Design & A Cover-up.

England Flag Design.

The first design John wanted was an England Flag, Which he has found on the internet. He forwarded me the picture and after I did a few sketch's of the design, we where good to go.
Using a 03 round liner for the outline, We set to work, and switched to a 05 round shading for the colour, Working in small, tight circles to cover correctly.
I then used the same Sized needle to create the small shading you see Just  under the rose and around the scroll, To just give the piece that depth & detail it deserves.

My Sketch of the image John sent to me.

And This is the end result of about 3 hours work, We where both VERY pleased with the outcome and This piece took pride of place as my favorite piece I've tattooed so far.

Custom 'C.A.W.B' Logo Design.

This next design was a little more challenging, As it was a custom design, Designed By John & Carl Gitsham.
It was the Logo for a Xbox Clan John Is a Major part of Known as the C.A.W.B.
He showed me there Logo that they had designed and asked If I could tattoo it for him, So I set to work with a few sketch's, The first four all being far too big! (A4 size Is perhaps not the best bet when tattooing to a persons leg!) But I was concentrating so much on the details I forgot to think about the size!
Finally, I go it right and we settled on half an A4 being a perfect size.

I started with a 03 Round liner, Switching to a 01 Round Liner for the smaller, Inside Detail, Then used a 05 and 03 round shader to add shading and colour (Which I am Yet to find the photo's of I'm afraid.) the end result was quite brilliant I thought, And John seemed Very happy with the outcome.

This is the Original logo, Designed By John & Carl.

This is My Sketch of the above Picture I was sent.

This is the outline of the design, Just before we added colour and shading .. I Will upload the colour & shading Picture Soon.

Cover-Up Design.

This design was a cover up on a 30 year old tattoo!!
Luckily, I'm quite good when faced with a challenge! John asked if I could design him a tattoo that Incorporated his Army details AND Cover the tattoo on his forearm he been wanting cover for a while, I had a quick scout through my Tattoo source book, Finding the perfect design for me to tweak into what he wanted.

This Is the design I picked from my Tattoo Sourcebook To amend into what John wanted.

This was my draft of the design once I'd taken out bits I didn't want, need or like and I was left with the perfect design to suit John's needs.

This was the outline stage of the cover up, You can still slightly see the old tattoo underneath the new one.

This is the colour and shading stage, This is not the finished product and I have a few more pictures to upload yet and A little more work I would like to do.

Final piece of the cover-up added.

'Made In England' - Bulldog Tattoo.

Custom Bulldog tattoo, designed to cover a old tattoo.
I spent quite a bit of time on this tattoo, And I am really pleased with the outcome, It was a little bigger than the pieces i usually do so i really enjoyed the challenge.

CAWB Tattoo & Cap Badge.

John newest pieces.
The Cap Badge from this army regiment and the another CAWB tattoo designed by John.

21/17 Lancers Cap Badge Sketch.

Cap Badge on the skin.

Another C.A.W.B Piece That John wanted.

Christine ARDRON's Tattoo. (Griffin.)

Christine Is a good friend of mine and also the writer of a set of books called The Predgarians. The symbol for the Predgarian Order in her book's is a Griffin.
So It's hardly surprising when she call on me to Tattoo a Griffin for her.

It was quite a tiring but fun project to work on as the detailing was IMMENSE!
I used a 03 round liner for most of the outline, Switching to a 01 Round Liner for the Intricate details Such as the feathers, and tufts of fur. :)

This Is the Griffin Christine Picked From My Tattoo SourceBook.
Due to the lack of carbon paper, And abundance of my own confidence, We decided to free-hand draw this piece onto Christine's Arm, With a little help from an artist friend of mine, Mark.

This is the head & Chest of the Griffin, It spans the whole width of Christine's Forearm And is yet to be coloured and shaded as we can't quite decided on a nice enough green ... :)

And this is the rest of the Griffin, I do apologize for the quality of the pictures but I was without my usual photographer, Carl Gitsham, And had to take these with the only available camera - My phone!
I look forward to the colour and shading on this piece and getting some better pictures!! :)

Luke WALKER's Tattoo. (Custom.)

Luke came to me with the idea of having a 'Pac-man' tattoo.
After I finished laughing, We had a quick sketch, Did a internet search and finally found the image he wanted on Google.

I copied the image onto carbon paper, and started with a 03 round liner, The whole design took around 20-25 minutes.
We may add colour & shading at a later date, for the moment, Luke's Impressed with the outline .. But none to keen on the pain .. :)

This was the Image found on Google that we used.

And this was our Interpretation of it. :)

Kelsey SISSON's Star Tattoo. (Custom)

This is Kelsey's Star tattoo.
It was a pretty & Simple design, I used a 01 round liner for the outline and a 03 round shader for the colour.
All in all This tattoo took about 20 Minutes.
The only problem I have with this tattoo was as It was on the neck, It was difficult to keep the skin taught, and as a result, I had to go over the outline a little again.

This is the original design, I just modified it to suit what Kelsey wanted. Image found On Google & Also in my Tattoo Finder Book.

Carbon print onto Kelsey's neck ... I had to use carbon as I'm not yet good at drawing perfect stars.

And This is the finished product.

Daniel MORRIS' Tattoo. (Custom, Pin-Up Girl.)

This Is a custom design I've been dying to tattoo for quite a while.
So I asked Dan If he would mind been a 'Guinea pig' , so to speak, and he was more than happy to help, So Thank you very much Mr. Morris. I hope you enjoy your new tattoo. :)

I outlined this piece with a 03 round liner, as I wanted a bit of depth to the outline, but not so much that it over powered the design, There as a fair bit of fine detail to be added, so I needed to find the right Balance. I used a 01 round liner for the more delicate bits, Such as the stitchs, and the rips in the dress.

For the colour I used a 05 and a 07 round shader, Using the 05RS to add highlights to certain areas.
I found it easier to work with round shaders rather than flats, as this design is about 8 Inches tall and many of the flat needles would not have coloured so flawlessly.

The original design is drawn by myself. And It Is part of my 'Pin-Up' collection. I was extremely proud of her, And so I wanted to display her on skin the second I put the pencil down. However due to the  nature of the drawing I knew there were very limited people that would have her tattooed. Thankfully Dan is that 1% who would!!  :)

 Here Is My Original Drawing.

And this is the finished product, On Dan's Leg.
